As a Beck Wellness client, you have several options to choose from. Listed below are three of those options. Take time to read through them then click the link below and choose the best option for you.
Ayurvedic counseling
involves a holistic approach to improving your health and well-being. The counselor will assess your unique body type (dosha) and look for any imbalances in your physical, mental, or emotional health.
Based on this, they’ll offer personalized guidance in several areas:
- Diet and Nutrition: Tailored food recommendations that suit your dosha and help bring balance to your body.
- Lifestyle Changes: Suggestions for daily routines, sleep habits, and activities to support your overall health and energy levels.
- Herbal Remedies: Natural herbs and supplements to help balance your doshas and address any specific health concerns.
- Mind-Body Practices: Advice on yoga, meditation, and breathing techniques that align with your needs to help reduce stress and promote healing.
- Detoxification: Recommendations for gentle detox practices (like Panchakarma) to help cleanse your body of toxins and improve vitality.
Private Yoga sessions
are a great place to grow your understanding of the full depth of yoga. I believe that if you bring in more aspects of yoga, not only postures, into your practice, you will see healing and freedom. Yoga is practicing presents, being present to all that your body or mind is telling you. This will always be our starting point, sitting in awareness to know how to structure our time together. We will be using all modalities of yoga in our sessions. This will include breathing, movement, poses, and meditation. Your private session will be designed to meet your specific needs and goals, whether you’re looking to improve flexibility, reduce stress, or enhance overall well-being.Ayurvedic counseling and Private Yoga sessions
Choosing both of these is a transformative experience. Often in life, we treat the obvious signs of disease or dis-ease and don’t take the time to get to the root of what is happening on a subtle level.
One example of this is back pain. Back pain could be from a misalignment in the way you stand, but it could also be because you have inflammation from consuming sugar. While the action of practicing yoga will help with the pain and might even alleviate it for a while, cutting back on sugar would reduce the inflammation, helping with the pain in the long term.
Coming from both an external and internal approach will help you heal your body as a whole. In today’s fast-paced life it is good to think about not only the external factors leading to an issue but also internal factors such as what am I eating, how am I talking to myself, am I getting enough sleep. Combining both Ayurveda and Yoga brings all this together in a way that will help you shift your health one change at a time.
